At ServiceMaster Clean New Forest Bournemouth and Poole, Jess Burrows oversees their marketing efforts as Marketing Director.
We sat down with her to chat about her experience as part of the team.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
“I have two children, a girl aged 25 and boy aged 23 and a 3rd child – my goldendoodle dog called Dave.
I love upcycling and charity shops, going on holidays, gardening, yoga, cooking and baking (as I am a feeder) making plans and roller skating, If I could, I would love to be an adrenaline junkie.
My guilty pleasure is Jane MacDonald she just makes me smile.”
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
“To read minds.”
What’s your favourite childhood memory?
“I have many but one of my favourite memories is, at the age of 7 my best friend who lived opposite me had a horses and I used to go to her yard with her after school most days.”
Do you have any party tricks?
“How much I can get in my mouth, I can get whole doughnut in.
I once had a cheesy ball competition and I managed to get 132 in – I have not eaten them since and don’t intend to!”
If you could do/be anything, what would be your dream career?
“A make up artist or a children’s tv presenter.”
What would you do if you won the lottery?
“First thing – hire out an island and pay for all my family and friends to go on an amazing holiday.
Buy a big house and farm with lots animals, give a lump sum to my children and sisters and give a lot to various charities and animal rescue sanctuaries.”
What’s your favourite thing to do with family or friends?
“Laugh, travel and make memories.”
What do you like most about working at ServiceMaster?
“How we have modernised and grown since we took it over in March 2019 and continue to do so. I fell into the role as Marketing Director, but I really enjoy how I have progressed and continue to learn.”
