What we did

  1. Confirmed the order with the customer via email. This also included images of the technician and his van registration, along with the date and time of the appointment and the services selected, so that the customer knew what to expect.
  2. The technician arrived on site at the agreed date/time, fully equipped and ready to clean the sofas and carpet.
  3. We inspected the carpet; this involves working out what it is made of, so we know which products and equipment will work best. In this case, the carpet was wool, and the sofas were a viscose mix.
  4. Then, we assessed the carpet for any stains or pull damage so we could advise the customer and work out the best course of action.
  5. Then we vacuumed the carpet to remove any loose debris.
  6. Next, we deep-cleaned the carpet using our specialist equipment and products and concentrated on removing the stains and smells. For this carpet, we cleaned using WoolSafe products and procedures.
  7. When that was completed, we re-inspected to ensure all stains were removed and the sofa was clean.
  8. We stacked the sofa cushions up so that they would dry quicker.
  9. The technician gave some aftercare advice to the customer
