The British Damage Management Association has appointed Don Pringle to take over the chairmanship. Don Pringle is Director of Supply and Communication with ServiceMaster Ltd and has been vice chair at the BDMA for two years.

Don’s appointment was announced at the recent BDMA 10th Anniversary Convention which took place at Chesford Grange near Warwick. He comments; “I am thrilled to be involved with the BDMA and over the last two years have been delighted to see the achievements that have been made particularly within the insurance industry. As Chairman I hope to be able to continue to work alongside the rest of the Executive to support both the BDMA members and the industry as a whole.”

The first ever Damage Management Awards were also presented at the BDMA Charity Dinner on 3rd December. ServiceMaster was recognised in two categories including Michal Kogut who was short listed for Damage Management Technician of the Year and the ServiceMaster Wellington Aviation Museum project which was a finalist in the Damage Management Project of the Decade.
